Back to school time is a great opportunity to help kids in our area. There are many children in need in the Laurel Highlands and they may not have all the school supplies they need to begin the school year. You can make a difference! Please donate items for the Backpack Project and back-to-school supplies for kids in need. You can drop off your donations at Conemaugh East Hills, Conemaugh Ebensburg, Miners Medical Center and Meyersdale Medical Center. Donations of backpacks, notebooks, tissues, pencils, crayons, folders, lunch boxes, glue, pencil boxes, etc. will help kids get a great start to the new school year.
Nearly one in four children in Cambria County goes without food over the weekend. The Backpack Project works to provide six meals every weekend during the school year to the kids who need it. You can help the Backpack Project and make sure kids in our area aren’t hungry with a donation of non-perishable food items!
