A retired cab driver in Canada recently passed away at age 96 and left over $1.68 MILLION to his local hospital.
His friends say he was very frugal, but also made money investing in stocks.
John MacLellan left $1.68 million to St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, marking the largest single donation in its history.
The $1.68 million has been put into a fund that will be used to purchase new hospital equipment and for medical training.
