Bob used to own a small grocery store and he noticed many of his customers were going to spend Thanksgiving alone.
In 1970, he decided to host a small gathering in a space in the back of his store for Thanksgiving and it became a yearly tradition.
He has gone from the back of his store to the food court at the local mall.
This year, with the help of hundreds of volunteers, “Mr. Thanksgiving” served up 25-hundred pounds of turkey and 3-thousand 500 pieces of pie to more than 32-hundred people from all over the area.
