Colorado Towns Raise Money From The Community To Aid Local Businesses

Early in the pandemic, a town in rural Colorado knew its local businesses would be in trouble.  So they asked people to donate whatever they could to help. They got a much bigger response then they could have imagined.

Donations ranged from pocket change to people who gave their entire stimulus check.

They’ve now received over $90,000 in donations, and used it to help keep 19 businesses open.

The next town over brought in another $25,000.
