New York Hospital Workers Treated To Free Haircuts By Charity Group

Healthcare workers at Mount Sinai South Nassau hospital in New York were given free haircuts by mobile haircutting company Shortcut.

The “Haircuts for Heroes” project helped 160 employees get a free haircut on-site over three days. Some of the staff members hadn’t had a trim in months so the service was much appreciated.

“We saw a simple, yet impactful opportunity to give back to these health care heroes,” explains Shortcut co-founder Will Newton. “It provided some normalcy after months of serving in a high-stress environment.”
