Third Graders in California Start Their Own Newspaper To Keep Students Informed

School students in California have started a newspaper, “Third Grade Lockdown News”, to keep in touch and work on their writing.

They meet on Zoom every few days to talk about articles.

They’ve made five issues so far, with stories on beating boredom and fun facts about toilet paper!

The newspaper’s next issue will feature its very first “advertisement” from a small business started by another group of kids in their neighborhood that offers personalized sidewalk chalk art and messages for birthdays, graduation, and holidays.
