Cambria County has been added to the Governor’s Stay At Home order, and goes into effect tonight at 8. The Cambria County Commissioners have agreed to the need for the county to be added to the order, which remains in effect until April 30.
Under a STAY AT HOME order, you can still go to the grocery store or pharmacy to get necessary supplies, go to the doctor or take your pet to the veterinarian. You can go outside as long as you maintain social distancing (at least 6 feet between you and people outside your household).
If you are an essential employee at a life-sustaining business, you can still go to work.
“A stay at home order will not be a significant change to the residents of Cambria County, because most people are already voluntarily staying home and following Pennsylvania Department of Public Health guidelines,” said EMA Coordinator Art Martynuska. “All of us need to continue to do our part by washing our hands, practice social distancing, and stay safe by avoiding gatherings of people.”
