Lucky Nevada Man Finds Sealed Nintendo Game In Attic Worth $10,000

A guy cleaning out the attic of his childhood home came across an old video game, still in the package.

He thought the unopened 1987 Nintendo game may be worth two-hundred bucks, but was surprised to learn it’s a little more valuable.

That perfectly packaged “Kid Icarus” game is expected to fetch around $10,000 at auction.

Valarie McLeckie, video game consignment director at Heritage Auctions says that “Kid Icarus is one of the hardest NES titles to find in sealed condition.”

It is believed that there are fewer than 10 factory-sealed copies of the game in the hands of vintage game collectors.
