Nine-Year Old Convinces Town Board To Legalize Snowball Fights

A nine-year-old boy is leading his town’s effort to change a 98-year-old law that bans Severance, Colorado locals from engaging in snowball fights.

Mayor Don McLeod has noted that the law actually bans “throwing stones or missiles,” but “snowballs are perceived as that.”

Dane Best admits he’s broken the law before, which he says is ‘outdated.’”

He made a speech before the town council to present his case, along with petition signatures he collected… and he was successful!
