Eric Church is opening up about the time he almost lost his life.  Eric tells “Rolling Stone” magazine he had to undergo emergency surgery last year due to a blood clot in his chest.  He says the complication was caused by a birth defect, and he ended up having to get his top rib removed.  Eric’s interview is featured as the magazine’s August cover story.
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is honoring Reba McEntire.  Reba was announced as one of four honorees this year.  She will join the likes of Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and Loretta Lynn.  The ceremony will take place on December 2nd in Washington, D.C.
CMT’sNashville” comes to an end tonight…and for the city of the same name, the end couldn’t come quickly enough!  A new report says the show cost Tennessee taxpayers millions of dollars.  The report called out the show for its bad ratings and for costing 45-million dollars in taxpayer incentives.
