NASHVILLE NEWS & NOTES – THURSDAY, MAY 17, 2018!

Blake Shelton’s Ole Red Nashville is opening for business during the CMA Fest next month.  The restaurant, bar and music venue will host several events during the festival, which runs from June 6th through the 10th.  The first Ole Red opened up in Blake’s hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, and a third one is planned for Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Chase Rice is recovering from an injury he sustained while filming the music video for his latest song.  In fact, the injury was so bad, Chase had to undergo surgery.  He posted on social media this week that his “surgery was a success.”  He apparently tore his pectoral muscle during shooting in Mammoth Lakes, California.  Chase says he’ll be healed in time for his performance in Myrtle Beach tomorrow.
The Houston Rodeo is announcing a very special headlining performer — George Strait.  King George will close out the event at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo next March.
