NASHVILLE NEWS & NOTES – TUESDAY, MAY 15, 2018!

Dierks Bentley fans will get a chance to hear his upcoming album during a live performance in Nashville.  Dierks will perform his ninth studio album, ‘The Mountain,’ at the Ryman Auditorium on June 7th — the night before the album’s release.  Proceeds from the event support the Opry Trust Fund.
Carrie Underwood is celebrating ten years as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.  Her childhood hero, Randy Travis, surprised her on stage over the weekend to congratulate her.  She had just wrapped up a performance of Randy’s 1987 hit song, “I Told You So.”  Randy is the one who presented Carrie with an invitation to join the Opry in 2008.
Craig Campbell is returning to host his 6th annual Celebrity Cornhole Challenge.  The event will take place at Nashville’s City Winery on June 5th.  Over the past several years, Craig has helped raise more than 200-thousand dollars as a national spokesperson for Fight CRC.  The charity supports research, education and awareness for colorectal cancer.
