Reba McEntire says the ACM Awards on Sunday will begin with a tribute to the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting. She offered details, saying, “A lot of heartfelt words from a lot of different artists. Merle Haggard’s family is dealing with another tragic death.  Merle’s oldest daughter, Dana, died overnight Monday in her sleep.  Her family did not say how she died, but they say she’d been dealing with heartache after the two-year anniversary of her father’s passing.  Dana Haggard was 61.
A Connecticut man is accused of robbing a bank to impress Taylor Swift.  Twenty-six-year-old Bruce Rowley was arrested last week after confessing to robbing a bank and then throwing loads of cash over the fence of Swift’s Rhode Island home.  He told police he had a crush on Taylor and planned to donate some of the stolen money to impress her.  Rowley is behind bars on a 100-thousand-dollar bond.
