Alison Krauss is getting ready to kick off a 50-date tour.  It starts on May 16th in Tulsa, Oklahoma and makes stops in Nashville, Toronto, Memphis and several other cities through the fall.  Willie Nelson is co-headlining the first seven dates of the tour.  Tickets are on sale now.
Jake Owen is starting to reap the benefits of his latest single, “I was Jack (You Were Diane).  The song is rooted in John Mellencamp’s iconic 1982 hit, “Jack & Diane“.  Jake says he was worried about taking a classic song and redoing it.  The decision seems to have paid off because the song broke into the Top 20 this week, becoming his first single to hit that mark since “American Country Love Song” in 2016.
