Miranda Lambert, who is set to perform at the Bryce Jordan Center this Friday, is asking fans to help Centre County PAWS. She hopes concert-goers will donate cat and dog supplies as part of her “Fill the Little Red Wagon” initiative, a campaign that asks for donations to local no-kill pet shelters.
Centre County PAWS is a nonprofit animal shelter in State College and is dedicated to finding homes for cats and dogs. They are a non-euthanasia, member-supported, volunteer-enabled organization dedicated to the Promotion of Animal Welfare and Safety, making it Lambert’s local Pennsylvania pick.
“The Little Red Wagon was overflowing and then some,” said Lambert of her previous tour stops across the country. “I thank my fans, the volunteers, the communities and the shelters for their tireless efforts and for how much they care about what I love, which is the mutts.”
What does the shelter need now? Currently, Centre County PAWS is most in need of High Efficiency Laundry Detergent, Bleach, Fancy Feast Kitten Food, and Nyla Bones.
