The first round of performers for the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards has been revealed.  Thomas Rhett, Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris will all take the stage.  Reba McEntire will host the 52nd annual event.  The ACM Awards will air live from Las Vegas on Sunday, April 15th on CBS.
Cam and Motown legend Smokey Robinson are taking the stage together for an episode of CMT Crossroads.  The two teamed up for their biggest hits, including “Cruisin’,” “I Second That Emotion,” “Mayday” and “Burning House.”  The episode will premiere on March 28th at 10 p.m. Eastern Time on CMT.
Luke Bryan says “American Idol” keeps him up at night.  Luke is filming for the remake of the reality singing competition.  During a recent interview Luke said he lays awake at night worrying about whether he’s made the right decisions.  Katy Perry and Lionel Richie are also judges on the upcoming season that to premieres on ABC this Sunday.
