Reba McEntire is taking over as host of the ACM Awards. Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan co-hosted the show for two-years but announced last month that they wouldn’t return this year. Reba previously hosted the show in 2012 with co-host Blake Shelton. No word yet on who, if anyone, will be Reba’s co-host. |
In addition to announcing her hosting duties, Reba also announced the ACM Awards nominees yesterday. Chris Stapleton received the most nods with a total of eight, followed by Thomas Rhett with six. The ACM Awards will air live from Las Vegas on April 15th! |
Dolly Parton is celebrating a milestone with her Imagination Library. On Tuesday, Dolly donated the 100-millionth book to the Library of Congress. The book happened to be her own children’s book, “Coat of Many Colors.” The Imagination Library started in 1995 as a small-time charity that focused on donating books to children in Dolly’s home state of Tennessee. Since then, it’s grown to a global organization that mails out one-million books each month to kids all over the world. |
