Michael Ray is apologizing to fans after an arrest on DUI and drug charges.  A late-night, fast-food run landed the country music singer in a Florida jail on Wednesday.  Police say Ray’s Jeep hit the car in front of him in the drive-thru line at McDonald’s.  They say he failed several field sobriety tests shortly afterward and had weed oil in his possession.  Ray released a statement hours after his arrest, telling friends, family and his fans that he’s sorry and that he’ll do whatever it takes to build their trust again.
Newlyweds Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans have a new Christmas tradition.  The couple got engaged Christmas morning 2016. Ballerini says she was making breakfast when Morgan popped the question.  She says they plan to make Evans’ proposal a new holiday tradition.  Ballerini says every Christmas morning, she’ll make breakfast and he’ll ask her to marry him.
CMT’s Next Women of Country are taking a stand against sexual assault.  Kalie Shorr, Kelleigh Bannen and Lindsay Ell teamed up to perform Taylor Swift’sLook What You Made Me Do.”  The trio performed the cover during a private showcase in Nashville during CMA Awards week.  It’s now been turned into an official music video that features the number for the national sex assault hotline.
