WTVA claims a man was shot in the chest following a Jason Aldean concert in Tupelo, Mississippi on Friday night. A group of people were arguing in the parking lot before a man pulled a pistol and fired six shots. Several cars besides the victim were hit. Police stopped the shooter before he could leave the parking lot. The victim was released from the hospital on Saturday.
After more than 50 years, John McEuen is no longer part of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. McEuen revealed that he has split from the group that he co-founded.  McEuen announced his departure from the band in a press release, citing an “ongoing difference of opinions.” The news comes just days after the band concluded its 2017 tour in Fargo, N.D.  The remaining members of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band have not issued a statement on McEuen’s departure.  John was in Johnstown recently performing at the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival.
Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood recently got together at his home to discuss hosting the CMA Awards. Brad brought in lunch and made sure to label all of Carrie’s lunch boxes ‘weirdo’ due to Carrie’s unique eating habits.
