NASHVILLE NEWS & NOTES- TUESDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2017!

Jason Aldean is still trying to come to grips with what he got caught in the middle of Sunday night at the Route 91 country music festival in Las Vegas.  Hollywoodlife.com claims Jason is still in shock over the incident and Us Weekly claims Jason and his band hid behind equipment as Stephen Paddock peppered him and his fans with gunfire. A source tells the magazine: “Jason’s bus was also in line of fire and has bullet holes.”
People magazine claims Keith Urban and Vince Gill performed at a vigil last night in Nashville for the victims of the Las Vegas massacre. Keith told fans; “I started this morning finding out about it and being shell-shocked. My 9-year-old asked, ‘Dad, you seem quiet.’ I said, ‘Yeah a lot of people died last night,’ and she said, ‘Did you know any of them?’ They’re like family. It’s the one thing about country music. It is a community. I do know those people. It just hit me,”
Radio.com claims the Vegas shootings have prompted Maren Morris to release an unreleased track called “Dear Hate“.   She wrote the song 3 years ago, recorded it last year with Vince Gill, and fans are always asking when she’ll put it out. Maren said, “I never knew when would be the right time, but I realized today that there’s never a right time. Hate is everywhere, and I’m sick of not doing enough.”
