Alligator Invades S.C. Home on Easter

Easter has come and gone, but what is a holiday without an incident? A Mount Pleasant South Carolina family got a rude awakening Easter morning when their home was invaded by a creature that wasn’t the Easter Bunny. No, it was 9 ft alligator that climbed a 15 foot staircase, and broke through a screen door only to trash the home of Steve Polsten and his family. Polsten said he heard sounds coming from his enclosed porch and went to investigate. That’s when he came face to face with the feisty gator. According to State wildlife officials, the gator was probably about 60 years old, and was trying to find his way back to a breeding pond near the Polsten home. That was some Easter Bunny (ha, ha) He didn’t even bring candy (ha,ha)
