A day to remember listening to some great tunes from the sixties, and seventies on 8 track tapes.8 track tapes, also known as stereo 8, were created in 1964 by Bill Lear of the Lear Jet Corporation along with Ampex, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Motorola, and RCA Victor Records, and released in 1965. Eight Track tapes were phased out in retail stores in the U.S., by 1982. Many of the late period 8 track tape releases, are very collectible today ! So check out your attic and basement. You could be sitting on a GOLDMINE !
