NASHVILLE NEWS & NOTES – MONDAY, APRIL 10, 2017!

Nashville newspaper, The Tennessean, is reporting Dierks Bentley’s wife Cassidy is going to run in the Boston Marathon one week from today!  This will be Cassidy’s second time running the marathon.  She is running to raise money for Safe Haven, a Nashville shelter for homeless families.
Sam Hunt, who played quarterback at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, finds a lot of similarities between being a college quarterback and a songwriter.  He recently told al.com, “writing songs requires a lot of discipline, hard work, practice and persistence. All of these are important traits for success in football. Anything in life that tends to be worth doing requires these qualities. The motivational skills and leadership skills that came from being a quarterback and leading the offense on a football team, those skills have paid off for me, big time, in music.”  You can see Sam put those skills to good use when he comes to Key Bank Pavilion in Burgettstown on June 17th!
Congratulations are in order for High Valley’s Curtis Rempel and his wife Myranda!  The couple welcomed a precious baby girl into their family on Friday!   Her name is Millie June and she joins big brother Ben, who is 3.
