Dierks Bentley tells Entertainment Tonight that he and Luke Bryan plan to drink before hosting the ACM Awards on Sunday night.  That’s an attempt to calm down before the nerve-wracking job of hosting the awards show!  Dierks said he and Luke plan to drink a little more this year, get a little more crazy. Luke paraphrased Micahel Ray by saying the plan is to, “Drink a little more, host a little less.”
Look for a ton of duet performances during the ACM Awards this weekend!  The Orlando Sentinel claims the Backstreet Boys will perform with Florida Georgia Line.  Dierks Bentley and Cole Swindell will sing Flatliner while Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban will perform The Fighter. Thomas Rhett and Maren Morris will sing Craving You. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will sing their new single Speak To A Girl.  The 52nd Annual ACM Awards show is Sunday night at 9!
Brett Eldredge will join Darius Rucker and Chris Stapleton tomorrow for CMT’s first-ever Hometown Heroes special, which will feature country artists returning home to help out in the local community. Brett is set to return to his roots in Paris, Illinois, to make his old high school stadium new again. He’ll also put on a show for a few thousand friends, family and fans in his beloved Paris High School gymnasium. The special will feature the exclusive performance, an in-depth interview and an intimate look into the people and places that shaped Brett, Darius and Chris. CMT Hometown Heroes premieres Friday at 10.
