NASHVILLE NEWS & NOTES – THURSDAY, MARCH 2, 2017!

In his ongoing war against ticket scalpers, Brantley Gilbert has created a Working Class Ticket for his key amphitheater dates. Selected seats under the pavilion will only be $20 — priced similarly to the affordable lawn tickets that are typically much farther away.  Brantley says, “I hate that it’s always impossible for the folks in the BG Nation, who’re trying to make ends meet, to get into those seats…” he adds. “I know times are tight, and no matter what you’ve got going on, if you wanna come hear the show, we’ve got you covered.”  Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning for his August 6 show at Key Bank Pavilion!  Go to LiveNation.Com!
CMT will pay tribute to Waylon Jennings in a two-hour prime time concert special. Chris Stapleton, Eric Church, Willie Nelson and Toby Keith along with Kacey Musgraves, Alison Krauss, Lee Ann Womack, Kris Kristofferson and more will deliver their versions of Waylon classics during the show which premieres Friday, April 7 at 10 p.m. ET on CMT.  The concert will be released later as a CD/DVD package.
Don’t forget to watch Luke Bryan as he stops by NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon tonight at 11:35 p.m. ET.
