Luke Bryan is departing from the norm of Super Bowl anthem singers.  Luke will perform the Star Spangled Banner acapella Sunday at SB 51 in Houston!  No musical accompaniment—just 100% Luke.  Kickoff for Super Bowl 51 is set for 6:30 Sunday night.
Garth from Wayne’s World, err… Keith Urban in a blonde wig got major attention this week in Nashville. The disguised country star took to a downtown Nashville sidewalk this week to play for tips from unsuspecting fans. The reason? According to the Tennessean, Keith was recording a video for the upcoming Country Radio Seminar in Nashville later this month. “We made $8. It’s pretty good,” Keith told the newspaper. Word is that Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton will also have their turn staring in a goofy video.
Little Big Town and Sturgill Simpson have been added to the superstar lineup of country acts performing at the 59th annual Grammy Awards.  The country acts join previously announced performers Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Maren Morris, who will duet with Alicia Keys.  The 59th annual Grammy Awards will air live from Los Angeles on February 12 on CBS.
