Millions around the world are continuing to express their sympathy over the death of pop music icon George Michael.  One of those grieving artists is Carrie Underwood.  Carrie shared a post on Instagram saying, “George was such an influence on me. As a child, I could pick out his voice among the sea of voices I heard on the radio. His songs and his voice helped to teach me how to sing. I will forever regret not letting him know.”
In the true spirit of Christmas, Randy Travis and his wife, Mary, had a special Christmas surprise for Gainesville, Texas, police officer Keith Bartlett, who lost his home and most of his possessions—including his prized Gibson guitar—in a house fire.  Randy and Mary surprised Keith by showing up at the police station on Christmas Day with a brand-new Gibson guitar.  Mary was quoted as saying, “I just know how important music is and what therapy it is, especially at a time like this.”  Officer Keith responded by saying, “‘Surprised’ isn’t even the word for it!  (Randy and Mary) are amazing people.”
So how do you celebrate New Year’s Eve?  It definitely changes as you get older.  Just ask Justin Moore.  Justin says, “back in the day, he stayed out and turned it up pretty loud and stayed out late and did all that. Nowadays with kids, it’s hard to even make it to midnight, so it’s changed over the years. But it’s changed for the better.”
