Lee Brice sang an emotional version of “Go Rest High On That Mountain” at a full military honors funeral service at Arlington National Cemetery for U.S. Air Force Maj. Troy Lee Gilbert.  Major Gilbert was killed in Iraq in 2006, but his body was not returned stateside until last year.  Lee got to know Major Gilbert’s wife at one of his shows when she told Lee how much his song “I Drive Your Truck” meant to her and her two sons.  If you recall, that was the show where Lee presented her and her two sons with the pickup Major Gilbert sold off before leaving for Iraq.  What an amazing story!
