New Movies Added to National Film Registry

“The Lion King”, “Thelma and Louise” and “The Breakfast Club” are among the 25 movies being added to the National Film Registry. The Library of Congress, which started in 1988 has announced it’s inductees.
Also added are “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”, “The Birds”, “The Blackboard Jungle” and “Funny Girl.” The registry now includes 700 films.
