Today Marks the 75th Anniversary of the Attack on Pearl Harbor

Today is the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. On a quiet Sunday morning, the Pearl Harbor Naval Base in Hawaii was devastated by a surprise attack by Japanese warplanes. When the attack was over, 23 hundred Americans were dead, and another 11 hundred wounded. Five battleships including the USS Arizona were either sunk or severely damaged. This event drew America into World War II and changed the course of the 20th century.
