Dierks Bentley played a sold-out show at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre last night.  He was so excited about playing the historic venue, he couldn’t stop playing!  In fact, he played past the venue’s curfew!  During one of his performances, he brought out Maren Morris to perform “I’ll Be the Moon,” the duet she wrote for his album Black.  The two then harmonized on Maren’s breakthrough, “My Church,” before Randy Houser joined them for “Bad Angel.” Dierks will play one more show at Red Rocks tonight, before kicking off the fall leg of his tour October 13 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Kacey Musgraves will mark the release of her Christmas album with a headlining tour. The eight-date trek kicks off November 26 in Windsor, Ontario, before making its way to Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium on the 28th.  The closest performance to us will be on December 9 in Wilkes-Barre.  Kacey’s album, “A Very Kacey Christmas” comes out October 28, with a vinyl version following on November 18.

Hard to believe, but Garth Brooks has just passed The Beatles on the list of artists who have sold the most Diamond-certified albums.  A Diamond award is given to an album when it sells ten-million copies.  The Beatles have six.  Garth now has seven as his Ultimate Hits compilation was just certified Diamond!
