Halloween Spending Up This Year

According to the National Retail Federation, people are expected to spend about $8.4 billion on Halloween this year, the most in 11 years.

That comes out to $82.93 per person, up from $74.34 last year.

Most is spent on costumes, to the tune of $3.1 billion, while candy costs amount to $2.5 billion.
