Brad Paisley is the latest artist who’ll be honored with his own exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The West Virginia native’s display will showcase instruments, stage clothes, song manuscripts, awards and mementos saved from childhood, including drawings and illustrations that detail Brad’s early talents. The exhibit will open November 18, just a couple weeks after Brad hosts the 50th Annual CMA Awards. It’ll run through May of next year.
More BP news…Brad Paisley is adding half a dozen more free shows to his Country Nation College Tour this fall. Brett Young will open four of the dates, with Chase Bryant and newcomer Lindsay Ell kicking off the other two. The new shows will take place at The Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, East Carolina University, University of Connecticut, University of Nebraska, University of Kansas and UCLA.
Last week, I played you the new song called “Forever Country,” the CMA’s new recording that combines 30 award-winning artists in a new mashup of John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You,” and Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again.” But tonight on Dancing with the Stars, you’ll get a first glimpse at the epic music video that accompanies the single. The first 90 seconds of “Forever Country” will premiere tonight on Dancing with the Stars, which starts at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. You’ll be able to watch the entire video immediately afterwards at ForeverCountry50.com. You can check out a behind-the-scenes preview of the shoot at GMA.Yahoo.com.
