Wanna make a lot of money for your hometown?  Put on a very large country music festival!  The numbers are in and the CMA Music Festival brought in $59.5 million dollars at last month’s four-day extravaganza, officially making it the largest annual happening in the city. The numbers further show that nearly 85 percent of festival attendees come from out of town and stay and average of five nights in Nashville hotels, with ticket-holders for the nightly shows accounting for $45.5 million of the cash.  It’s also a great charity fundraiser!  Since 2006, CMA Music Festival has raised $13.6 million for music education in schools.
