Dustin Lynch will headline this year’s Music City Gives Back concert June 7 in Nashville. Rodney Atkins hosts the show for the sixth year, with Canaan Smith, Craig Campbell, and new artist Lanco also set to take the stage.  The benefit helps the W.O. Smith Music School, which provides affordable lessons to children from low-income families.  Watch the show streaming live online.

Carrie Underwood apparently has a new house in the works, according to the new issue of Country Living Magazine.  Carrie and husband Mike Fisher are designing their ‘forever’ home,” and Carrie’s must-haves are a wood-burning fireplace, a porch swing and rocking chairs.  Carrie goes on to reveal she has a weakness for collecting antique trunks.  Read all about it in the new issue of Country Living, which is available now.

With the fictional world of ABC’s Nashville now cancelled, it was back to real-life for leading man Charles Esten, who portrays Deacon Claybourne on the series.  Charles says he’s encouraged by Lionsgate’s efforts to find the show a new home, and he’s particularly impressed by how Nashville’s fans have taken up the fight.  Charles says there’s still some Nashville left to be told and if somebody else wants to let them tell it, he’s all for that!  The next-to-last episode of the show airs tonight at 10 p.m. ET on ABC, with the series finale — at least on ABC — set for next Wednesday night.
