Keith Urban’s eighth studio album “Ripcord” debuted at the top of Billboard’s country albums chart in the U.S. this week!  It is also number one in his native Australia and in Canada as well. The album moved a total of 106,000 units in its first week, enough to finish at number four on Billboard’s all-genre chart. This week, the third single “Wasted Time” becomes Keith’s 36th top ten in a row.

Looks like it may not be over for Nashville afterall!  ABC won’t be renewing the show for a fifth season, but this weekend, Lionsgate, the entertainment company behind the series, gave fans some hope by Tweeting “#Nashies we are working hard to find a new home for your favorite show!”  We could learn more tonight, as leading lady Connie Britton is booked on Late Night with Seth Meyers.  Meanwhile, there are still two episodes of Nashville yet to air on ABC, starting this Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, with the May 25 episode allegedly culminating with a major cliffhanger.

It’s a severe case of “anything you can do…”  Looks as though Carrie Underwood has to do everything Brad Paisley does!  It’s not enough they co-host the ACM Awards shows and have sang on each other’s songs.  Brad’s new single “Without A Fight” was released last week and it is a duet with pop star Demi Lovato.  Brad taunted Carrie about getting to sing with Lovato…and now, Carrie is hinting she may do it, too!
