Kacey Musgraves is set to perform at this year’s first-ever G Fest June 16-18 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The festival, put on by the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, will pay tribute to the late, great Merle Haggard.  The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame has also been given the go-ahead to erect a sculpture of the Hag on the lawn of the Muskogee Civic Center, where Haggard recorded his iconic Okie from Muskogee album.

If you enjoyed Dolly Parton’s made-for-TV movie “Coat of Many Colors,” that aired back in December, you can own a copy for your very own on DVD starting today!  The home video version includes an alternate cut of the film, with deleted scenes and other extras.  Both Dolly and Jennifer Nettles, who starred as Dolly’s mother in the movie, have confirmed that plans are moving ahead for another film that would continue the story of the Parton family, this time set at Christmastime.

If you’re a fan of the TV series Nashville (like I am!) get ready for The Music of Nashville, Season 4, Volume 2!  The soundtrack is the seventh in the series and will contain 17 tracks performed by all your Nashville cast favorites!  The album drops May 13, and don’t forget to catch Nashville Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. on ABC.
