Garth Brooks’ Las Vegas shows are selling so well, he’s decided he’s gonna stick around for Independence Day.  The G-man is already set to play the new T-Mobile Arena the previous weekend and in the days leading up to July 4. Now, he and wife Trisha Yearwood will also do a 7 p.m. show on Sunday, July 3, as well as a 5 p.m. concert on America’s birthday.  Tickets for the new shows go on sale next Friday at 10 a.m.

Hunter Hayes stopped to pay his respects at Prince’s Paisley Park this weekend, posting a photo of himself outside Prince’s compound in Minneapolis. Hunter was in town playing a date Saturday night at a college in nearby Saint Paul.

Dierks Bentley will be one of the headliners for the 2nd Annual National Concert Day Show May 3 in New York City. The Today show’s Hoda Kotb will host.  If you can’t make it to the Big Apple next week, you’ll also be able to stream the full concert live on Yahoo.
