Dolly Parton will kick off the first leg of her Pure & Simple tour this summer on June 3 in Greensboro, North Carolina.  Her most extensive trek across the United States in over 25 years is also expected to include some Canadian dates before it wraps.  Dolly’s also busy putting the finishing touches on her new album, Pure & Simple with Dolly’s Biggest Hits, which is due sometime this summer.  In case you missed the announcement a few weeks ago, Dolly will make a stop at Consol Energy center on June 28.

 

Maren Morris made an early morning appearance on Good Morning America this morning and sang her breakthrough hit “My Church!”  Maren hits the road June 2 opening a string of shows for Keith Urban.  That’s also the day before her full-album is released on Tuesday, June 3!

 

Jason Aldean returned to his hometown to give half a million dollars to charity. The money was raised during an intimate, acoustic performance by Jason last Thursday night and will go to help Navicent Health, the only dedicated pediatric facility in central Georgia.  On Friday, Jason sold out a show scheduled for September 9 at Boston’s Fenway Park in less than ninety-minutes!  Jason hits the road with Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses May 19 for his Six String Circus trek.
