You’ll soon start seeing the faces of your favorite country stars at the grocery store. Why? Stars like Jennifer Nettles, Reba and Florida Georgia Line and other label mates at Big Machine are part of this year’s Outnumber Hunger campaign.

Jennifer says, “Being the face of this year’s Outnumber Hunger campaign is so exciting, and not just because I’ll be on the front of a cereal box!” As part of the promotion, Jennifer and other Big Machine artists will be featured on more than 150 General Mills products, ranging from cereal and granola bars to frozen pizza. Once you’ve brought the items home, if you enter the code on the box and your zip code at the Outnumber Hunger website, Feeding America will provide five meals for your local food bank!

If you’ve had the chance to see Chris Janson in concert, you know the “Buy Me a Boat” hitmaker is also a virtuoso on the harmonica. What most of us didn’t realize, however, is why he plays the compact instrument.

“All my life, I’ve had breathing problems, right through here,” he says, pointing to his upper torso, in a new public service announcement. “By playing this harmonica, I can have fun with music and help my lungs. Now what other instrument can you put in your pocket? I don’t know of one,” he adds. “I keep one with me just about everywhere I go.” Chris is partnering with the charitable arm of the ACMs, Lifting Lives, and the COPD Foundation to launch the Harmonicas for Health program, to help others with breathing difficulties.
