Kenny Chesney isn’t supposed to officially kick off his tour for more than a month, BUT Monday night in Key West, Florida, Kenny couldn’t wait to play any longer and entertained an audience that included Dale Earnhardt Jr. for more than three hours, stopping along the way to invite several special guests onstage. Just when the crowd thought it couldn’t get any better, there was another surprise. Eric Church joined Kenny onstage followed by Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey. Kenny officially starts rocking America April 23 at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama.
Blake Shelton will headline the Saturday night lineup at this year’s CMA Music Festival. Chris Young kicks off the evening at 8:30, with Cole Swindell taking the stage at 9:00. Florida Georgia Line starts their set at 9:30, before Blake is set to play at 10 p.m.
The rest of the lineup for this year’s CMA Music Festival looks like this: Kelsea Ballerini has also been added to the Thursday night opening night lineup along with Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert. Chris Stapleton, Sam Hunt, Eric Church, Hank Williams Jr. and Carrie Underwood are the Friday night talent. While tickets to the big shows at the stadium have been sold out for some time, admission is still available to see the stars both perform and sign autographs at Fan Fair X inside Music City Center. This year’s CMA Music Festival runs from June 9-12 in downtown Nashville.
