He’s still got it! Demand for Garth Brooks tickets in Fargo, North Dakota today was more than the ticket system could take. Sales have been suspended until next Thursday, so that a ticketing system that crashed can be fixed. Tickets already sold for the May 6 and 7 shows at the FARGODOME will still be honored. Sales resume Thursday at 10 a.m. CT online and at 1-844-4-GarthB.

There’s been another death in The Eagles’ family. Singer/songwriter Steve Young, best known as the composer of “Seven Bridges Road,” died Thursday in Nashville at the age of 73. Young first recorded the song himself for his 1969 debut album. He re-recorded the song in 1972. Then, in 1980, The Eagles recorded their version for their Eagles Live album. It went on to become their final top-40 hit before their famed breakup, and an important piece of both rock and roll and country history.
