Nashville News and Notes – Tuesday, March 8, 2016!

The all-star lineup for next week’s tribute to Kris Kristofferson continues to grow. Reba, Alison Krauss, Buddy Miller, Larry Gatlin, Jessi Colter and Shooter Jennings have now been added to the bill for The Life & Songs of Kris Kristofferson.  They join the already-stellar list of performers including Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Rosanne Cash, Eric Church, Jamey Johnson, Toby Keith, Martina McBride, Willie Nelson, Jennifer Nettles, Darius Rucker, Hank Williams Jr., and Lee Ann Womack. Kristofferson himself is set to take the stage with several special guests throughout the evening. The Life & Songs of Kris Kristofferson will be recorded Wednesday, March 16 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

It’ll be an early wake-up call for Dan+Shay this Friday as they wind down the week by performing on ABC’s Good Morning America. This summer, Dan+Shay hit the road with Darius Rucker and Michael Ray on the Good for a Good Time tour.

You can expect new music from Kenny Chesney this spring! Kenny recently took a break from writing and touring and says, “You have to take time to live and breathe, to fill up your tanks to be creative. Otherwise, you’re just on a treadmill churning out what you’ve already done.” Kenny plays a couple dates this month, before headlining the ACM’s Party for a Cause next month in Las Vegas.
